Scope and starting point
Pixel pitch is a distance, not a guarantee of viewing quality. A notional 3840 mm by 2160 mm surface at 1.5 mm pitch gives a 2560 by 1440 pixel grid. Actual cabinets require compatible module multiples, control bandwidth, calibration, power and service access.
Selection notes
Keep module resolution, pixel pitch, cabinet dimensions and operating brightness in the same configuration. Refresh rate is not frame rate. Check scan scheme, receiving system, calibration, power distribution, service access and test-pattern conditions before judging image quality.
Keep a reproducible record
Save the complete part number, source revision, operating point and the reason for each decision. Keep calculated examples separate from observed results. A measurement report needs its sample identifier, instrument and calibration details, stabilization, ambient conditions, raw record and uncertainty statement. Do not replace a missing value with zero or a typical value with a guaranteed limit.
